  1. Pull the wheel down in the same direction you did when the wheel was originally locked.
  2. Not sure which direction you need to pull? Try both — the wheel should move a bit when it’s pulled in the right direction.
  3. While holding your steering wheel in the right direction, insert your key into the ignition, and start the engine.
